The Top Search Engines
The big three are most certainly Google, Yahoo
and MSN. It is estimated that these three search
engines alone account for over 70% of traffic from search
engines. And with around 500 million searches carried
out per day by web surfers that equates to over
350 million searches just from these three.
But apart from ‘the big three’ it is always
wise for any search engine marketer to try and achieve visibility
in the other top search engines too. You’ll quite
often find that the some of these smaller search engines
use the results from one of the big three above.
